There's good news today from Microsoft regarding Xbox Live's arrival on the Window Phone 7's OS. It has been revealed that the rather unpopular points system used to buy games and other products on the Xbox 360's Live marketplace is not being used when buying games on the Smartphone’s own marketplace.
Instead, you will be able to either buy games using your bank details or you can have the cost of the game added to the end of your monthly bill.
This should stop the annoyance having leftover points which can't buy anything or minimum spends for points when you don't necessarily need them, and although there has been no word from Microsoft on the matter, I'm sure many gamers will hope this carries on to the Xbox 360 live marketplace too.
If you’re a mobile developer wanting to take a stab at developing an app or game for the Windows Phone 7 platform then download the Windows Phone 7 Developers Kit Beta Version.
