Google Chrome OS tablet to be released November 26th?

A rumour is circulating about the Google Chrome OS tablet release date. The Google Tablet running Chrome OS could be launching over at Verizon on November 26.

Specifications that are anticipated on the Google Tablet include, Tegra 2 graphics, a 1280 x 720 multitouch screen, 2GB RAM, 32GB SSD

Plus wi/fi Bluetooth and 3G as well as a webcam.

Nothing is confirmed yet specs or dates wise, but if the release date is true then the Google Chrome Tablet will be released on Black Friday (the traditional first day of Christmas shopping in the US) so they couldn't have picked a better day to attract the early Christmas shoppers.

However if the rumours about the mini iPad also materialise we could be seeing a tablet war over the festive season.

The Chrome Web Store opens up in October so we're likely to be seeing more information about the device in the coming weeks.

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
