The HTC Desire HD hasn’t been made official with no confirmed details of a release date or even specifications, but that hasn’t stopped the tech world speculating about the phone. The HTC Desire HD was first spotted on the inventory systems of Vodafone Germany and since then the rumours have kept coming in about when this new HTC smartphone will be released. Some have suggested at HTC’s mystery event in September however nonetheless it has certainly got us talking.
Well, here’s another piece of juicy news to grab hold of. It has been revealed that a HTC Desire HD listing yesterday was posted on the Amazon UK website and then taken off, which is probably enough confirmation to say that there could be a HD version of the HTC Desire heading our way very soon.
The Amazon UK website at the time listed a product called the HTC 99HLZ001-00 ACE/Desire HD, and priced at £415. However, since then the phone listing has been removed. As well as this, the HTC Desire HD has previously been rumoured that it could be called the HD Ace, so the code above suggests that there could actually be some truth to this all.
There are no other details regarding the phone, and no confirmation of the rumoured specs, such as it whether it will run on Android 2.2 for Europe and will tout a 4.3 inch screen, however, if we’re seeing leaks like this cropping up on credible sites such as Amazon, I am pretty sure we won’t have to wait long to hear more news.
