Clip on 3D glasses – to make life easier for spectacle wearers

I’m a recent addition to the spectacle wearers club. And while watching ‘Toy Story 3’ the other week I got really annoyed at how 3D glasses just do not stay on when worn on top of normal glasses. So I think I’m going to make millions by inventing clip on 3D glasses! Except Zalman have beaten me to it.

Zalman make 3D monitors, and as standard they sell them with a pair of normal or clip on 3D glasses. But you don’t have to invest in an expensive piece of equipment just to get a pair if you only want them for the once a month you get taken out to the talkies. For the incredible price of £9.50 you can buy you own clip on ones and stick a finger up at Odeon! Well, you can when they get them in stock and aren’t just ‘coming soon’ (like that film you desperately want them for…)

Ok, so £9.50 actually sees like a lot of money to me. I’ll probably just snap the arms off my cheapo cinema ones and attach them with a rubber band to be honest. But if you want to look a bit less of a dufus when out with your mates then you can get a pair from  Quiet PC or Atomic Tech.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
