Yesterday, we mentioned an announcement by Vodafone that they will be releasing Apple's iPhone 4 on their Pay-As-You-Go services. It seems their deals were even more tempting than they were expecting, as today Vodafone has announced it has run out of their initial stocks of the Apple handset.
With handset sale prices of the 16GB iPhone 4 at £480 and £570 for the 32GB version (both locked to Vodafone), it's unlikely the saving of just £19 and £29 respectively against Apple's SIM-free is what is tempting the customers.
Customers seem very keen to get hold of a contract-free iPhone 4 with Vodafone can enjoy having no minimum top-up and free monthly data for a year. It has been reported Vodafone's online store has "more [stock] on the way" with no definite date on arrivals as of yet.
The very popular PAYG deal which is only available until November, allows free monthly data usage without requiring being topped-up. The free monthly data offers 250MB of 3G data and 1GB of access to BT Openzone Wi-Fi hotspots which makes for a good deal on the expensive handset.
Vodafone has given no word on the repeatedly delayed white iPhone 4, it seems more than likely this offer for now will be exclusive to the black handsets.
