Attention all you Motorola Droid owners! It has been reported that updates for the Motorola Droid to Android 2.2 have already begun.
Tech blog, Boy Genius Report has already been notified by some Droid owners that the ‘over the air’ update is waiting at the ready.
It was reported by us last week that we could be seeing an update hitting Motorola Droid last week however no news of the update was announced, so Droid users will be happy to know that the Android 2.2 update is on its way as we speak.
Those who own a Droid and are waiting for Froyo can expect such features as improved web browsing, new security features (such as remote wipe and lock), Bluetooth voice-dialling and lots of other enhancements and improvements from improved call audio to the ability to read PDFs from Outlook 2003 and Yahoo.
