Yesterday we saw leaked pictures of the white iPhone 4 which had been smuggled out of a factory in China. For those of you that have been waiting for the white iPhone 4, the leaked shots suggested that we could see the release of the white lovely very soon.
However, UK network provider Orange have put a major clanger in the works, by telling customer that they should expect the white version by the end of the year!
It has bee reported by TiPb tech blog that Orange UK is sending out emails to customers that are waiting for the white iPhone 4:
"We wanted to let you know that there won't be any white iPhone 4"²s in the UK until the end of the year.
If you're happy to wait another few months we'll let you know as soon as they're back in stock.

Although, an official release date by Apple hasn’t been confirmed yet, it does make you wonder whether this is Orange’s ploy to get people to buy the black iPhone 4, as waiting for the white one just seems like such as long way away.
