The much anticipated Windows Phone 7, which has already been previewed, was noted to have been missing an important critical feature; web video. However, it seems such speculation may have been too early, as it appears there will at least be a YouTube feature added before the Phone is finished. A tweet by former Microsoft program manager Justin Angel, who must have had access to the Windows Phone 7 marketplace, shows a collage (shown below) which shows applications being supposedly tested for the smartphone.
The collage which shows many games notably includes Yelp and YouTube. The YouTube image, which for some reason has an identical image to MusicHubAddOn, might not be exactly what we expect. However, access to the catalog has not shown any new apps or updates, although it is possible that the particular branch this collage has emerged from is restricted to Microsoft partner developers for now.
What else do you expect from the Windows Phone 7 in terms of apps? Are you pleased with anything you see in the collage? Leave your thoughts below.
