Haven't check the App store for your iPad lately? Maybe now is the time as Apple have added a function we have been waiting for a while, many of you will be familiar with the genius function on iTunes. It will track you favourite songs and then suggests new tracks that match your tastes.

Well, now the App store has grown a brain of its own, if you select the genius tab on the App store you will be greeted with some boring legal blah, click accept and you will now be part of the Genius system, which will suggested or tell you what Apps you should have a look at. It does this by analysing your previous purchases and guesses or knows what you might like around the same App categories.

Now we are free minded individual and don't like being told stuff at the best of times, but we for one like this new function, as the App store has always been an awkward place to find great new Apps and this new function looks to rid you of this inconvenience.

If you disagree with a recommendation, there's a big “Not Interested” button to show the know-it-all iPad Genius who's boss.

Let us know what you make of iPad Genius recommendations. Do they point you towards apps you might of missed? Or are the apps it uncovers as odd as some of the tunes offered up by Genius in iTunes.
