If you’re an O2 customer and have been wanting to get a BlackBerry smartphone but without the contract, then it has been announced by O2 that they will be offering a handful of BlackBerry smartphones on Pay As You Go.
The BlackBerry smartphones being offered as a PAYG option include the BlackBerry Pearl 3G, The Bold 9700 and the BlackBerry Curve 8250.
The Blackberry Berry Pearl 3G is already available on T-Mobile on PAYG for £249.99, as well as the Curve 8520 at £149.99 and the Bold 9700 for £349.99, so we should expect O2’s pricing to be similar.
Also, within the O2 PAYG package, BlackBerry PAYG customers will get inclusive use of the BlackBerry Messenger Service when you top up with £15 or more a month, so it does seem like a pretty good deal if your don’t fancy tying yourselves into a 18 or 24 month contract.
