Apple Introduce Try Before You Buy to App Store – Or Do They ?

Apple has introduced a clever new feature to their App Store, allowing users to try before you buy, which will be a welcomed addition to users and struggling developers. We've been poking around the store all morning and are yet to come across the new feature. Although, we did come across a Genius Tab on the store through our mobile – allowing iTunes to recommend you some Apps.

So it would seem that the try before you buy is a little mis-leading at the moment, but the new section will give developers extended controls to show off their wares to humble iPhone App scavengers for a limited amount of time.

It should allow users to see all lite edition of apps that are currently available, which are normally demos of the App with limited functionality, allowing you to essential try before you buy. But now they should be grouped together for ease of navigation.

The Android store is the main competitor to Apple App store and has had a function that allows users to return an App within 24 hours. This exactly what Apple needs to draw in more and more users.

The section should be available under the features section of the Apple Store through your device, but here in the UK, we can't see it. Whether it'll be ported over into our iPhone app store we can't confirm.

Let us know if you can see this new feature? And of course leave us your thoughts below.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
