iPod Touch 4G Rumoured to Include a Front Facing Camera for FaceTime?

Apple rumours are certainly starting to heat up. Yesterday we talked about how Apple, are looking to release some more juicy products to the market place. One of the products on the list includes the new iPod Touch, which is expected to include a camera and flash on the back.

Well, more rumours surrounding the Touch are filtering to the surface, as MacRumors managed to get their hands on some photos of what appears to replacement parts for the new iPod Touch, which also shows clearly a space for a front facing camera.

The front facing camera shown in the photos could be used for FaceTime video chat over WiFi, however with this in mind I can’t help wondering whether there is actually a market for the new iPod Touch, especially with the release of the iPhone 4, which does everything which has been rumoured on the new iPod Touch and more.

What do you think? Do you think the distinction between the iPhone 4 and the new iPod Touch is becoming to too close? Is there a market for both the iPhone 4 and the new iPod Touch. Leave your comments below…

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
