It was not long ago that the iPad was making headline news, however since the release, things have just died down. Instead all the talk is now surrounding the next iPad or should we say the iPad 2. Very little is known about the up and coming tablet device, however one this which is rumoured to be on the cards is a front facing camera.
So in an unlikely turn of events, could Apple have let the cat out of the bag with this recent slip up? When I mean slip up I mean, a bullet point appearing in "iPad in Business" which mentions a camera which doesn’t exist. More specifically the iPad deployment overview, in the 'Available restrictions' section, it claims restricted use of their non-existent camera (which can also be controlled with an Exchange policy).
This has sparked rumours of this being "evidence" of Apple’s intent for their next iPad. However closer inspection has shown that this in fact more than likely a copy and paste error, as all it's bullet points in the 'Supported passcode policies' and 'Available restrictions' are identical to that of the "iPhone in Business" document (shown below).

The bullet has also been removed from the iPad document already. It already seems pretty clear that Apple is intending to eventually release an iPad with a front facing camera to support their video calling software FaceTime (currently used on the iPhone 4), but there are no definite claims from Apple as of yet.
Since the release of the iPhone 4, there has been much speculation as to what the next iPad's new features will include. The camera is the first and most obvious one perhaps, but other speculations include; a better screen, which after the release of the iPhone 4's high-density screen, has sparked speculation that the next iPad will use the same. Although this would mean a likely resolution of 2660×1774 pixels, it seems unlikely that the current iPad's specs could handle such a thing which bring me on to the next speculation, memory. Well, it makes sense that Apple will improve both its RAM and its hard drive space.
So, although the camera seems to be a must have for the next iPad, what else could its users want with the next generation? Leave your thoughts below.
