Microsoft Take Kinect on UK Tour

Most Xbox fanatics will be drooling over the prospect of the Kinect. Excitement is starting to build as Microsoft release snippets of information about the upcoming 360 add-on. But obviously the best way to advertise Kinect is to let people have go on it, then they become addicted and run to the nearest home entertainment shop and grab one.

Well that's exactly what Microsoft is doing. Kinect is set to go on the road, giving UK users a chance to try out the motion-camera gaming system before it hits the shops.

The tour will stop at:
Alton Towers,
London Zoo,
Chessington World of Adventures,
The Clothes Show live at the NEC
and The Thames Festival.

Plus you can request for the tour to come to a local event near you by taking part joining a Facebook community group that is set to launch in August. You can also book a slot with the hands-free gaming system at 'Kinect in London’s Covent Garden.' which opens on 31 July.

Will you be hitting any of the Kinect events before the latest gaming phenomenon hits the stores?

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
