T-Mobile is one of the UK network carriers still yet to confirm details and a release date for when the iPhone 4 will be available on their network. With the international release date looming and proposed for the 30th of July, people are starting to question why it is taking so long for the popular UK network carrier to get hold of the iPhone 4.
Well, it would appear that the waiting is about be over soon as tech blog, Pocket-Lint received a tip indicating that T-Mobile in the UK could be launching the iPhone 4 on its network shortly, which is definitely good news for some of you T-Mobile customers that have been waiting to get the iPhone 4.
The message came via Twitter and said…”@Pocketlint just had it confirmed. 30th of July on t-mobile for iphone4, not on pay as you though”.
However, if the iPhone 4 is released on Friday does that mean it will follow in the steps of O2 by only offering the phone to their existing customers? We’ll just have to wait and see as more news unfolds.

Well I hope so, can’t wait, they have told us lies since launch date on the 24th June, so if not release on Friday will be jumping ship. Just have a look at Tmobile website Forums and you will see.
I’ve been waiting a few weeks now for T Mobile to launch the Iphone 4. I’ve noticed that they’ve removed the original tariffs / prices from their website. If they are in the process of reviewing the tariffs and the new ones are more competitive, I’ll get one on Friday. If not, I think I’ll get the HTC Desire or Samsung Galaxy S
I hope it’s true I was thinking to finish contract with Tmobile and go to other network to get Iphone4. but if they going to release it on Friday i will defintalely wait :)))) Woop Wooop :)
Well there seems to be a bit of confusion as to when it comes out. I seriously doubt that it will be out on Fri 30th as Tmobile Customer Services claim they have no information on when the iphone 4 will be released. Surely they would post a date on their website but nothing as of yet.

T mobile have lied to me constantly about their release dates, if not Friday im canceling!
As sad as I feel, I have been enviously waiting since June 24th for the iphone 4.
I phoned T-mobile customer services yesterday and she was suprised that even she could no longer see the previously published tariffs.
Nobody seems to know why there is such secrecy about the release that, but it must be working to the detremant of T-mobile cos if its not released this weekend, I’m becoming a Holland fan and joining Orange.
I have just spoke to them and they are apparently getting both black and white in on Friday so by Monday will be available for upgrades !!
I have been waiting for this for ages….Likewise with others I have called T-mobile recently, and there’s certainly no mention of even the lightest info on the release/tariffs/details etc…and customer services are all very vague…If they are releasing Friday then its a tight lipped one for some reason, which I don’t really get…(probably because they’ve only got 50 or something stupid! I think T-mobile and Apple themselves have handled the whole launch in a poor way…Lack of info, wifi not working on presentation, antenna problems, people queuing outside Apple stores like their lives depended on it, all just to find out theirs no (hugely popular) white, iphone 4’s….So the answer to your question, if it comes out on Friday will I buy one…? FC*K YEA! here’s my debit card details lol – If not then T-mobile must be punished and I will be forced to defect like others onto the ‘ole Tesco.
Am so happy got the phone call from tmobile this afternoon that are releasing it on the 30/7/2010. my is on order and will be delivered on the 3/8/2010.

I’m a business customer and just been told by customer services that they don’t know. Been registered for feedback for weeks, so don’t know what they are playing at.
I spoke to tmobiles so called loyalty team two days ago and was told the iphone would be available on monday 2nd august and a member of the loyalty team took all my details down for my upgrade even the delivery address at work i was happy it was finaly going to happen.
Then i phoned them again the following day to make sure they were sending a micro sim card with the phone to then be told there were no details on there system re my upgrade and that they did not know when the iphone is being launched by tmobile i have been a customer of this shower of **** since the one to one days and cant belive they are handling this launch so badly ive had enought im off to o2.
I ordered my phone, I am told it will be with me by 1pm on Tuesday 03/08.
