3D Avaitor Specs Now Available for the….ahem…”Fashion Conscious” Cinema goer

If your a chic fashion conscious person, you’ll probably hate the thought of going to the cinema to catch a film and having to wear those horrendous looking 3D glasses, when I went to see Avatar and wore a pair. I looked like a rejected stunt double from the Blue Brothers. It was truly embarrassing.

Well, that is all a thing of the past, well sort of, Cinemaworld have started selling 3D glasses that are in the uber-cool Aviator style.

They’re on sale for a ridiculous price of £13, but you’ll be the coolest film-goer in the Cinema, and if you already wearing glasses you can buy a pair of those truly awful clip-on ones. You know the ones your dad wears, and clips on to his national health reading glasses.

But really, you have to be pretty insecure to worry about how you look for the odd two-and-a-half hour trip to catch a flick in total darkness.

Therefore it begs the question; why do we need new Aviator-styled premium 3D specs from Cineworld? To look like a 3D Tom Cruise from Top Gun we suppose.

Would you invest in your own 3D glasses to go the cinema with? Let us know below.

Just make your own using some better looking sunnies and the 2 polarised plastic disks from a set from a cinema. The “lenses” can be cut down with scissors so as long as you keep the orientation the same, it’ll work.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
