Droid X Have Reported Problems of Defective Screens

The Droid X handset is proving to be very popular as it has been announced that since the release of the Droid X, it took less than 24 hours for the Droid X to be sold out.

However, it’s not all good news for the handset because reports from several forums have suggested that the a number of early adopters to the Droid X are complaining about serious graphical and possible electrical problems with the handset’s giant screens.

This has only been reported to a handful of forums but symptoms include rapid flickering and vertical banding on all or part of the screen.

Some people have already had their phones replaced and have been told that this defect is a common problem amongst batches which were delivered in the first day.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
