Although Apple confirmed at their iPhone 4 press conference last Friday that the elusive white iPhone will be released later this month, there were no exact details regarding an actual release date, which does make you question whether there could be an issue which Apple are remaining tight lipped about.
Well, over the weekend it would appear that Engadget have been doing some digging and found that that the delay in the white iPhone 4 is due to a problem with the Lens Technology. It would appear that they are having some trouble getting the right opacity and thickness for pure white paint that Apple wants on the glass panel.
We are hoping that the factory get to the crux of the problem sooner rather than later, before the international release date of the iPhone 4.
Will you be buying the white iPhone 4 when it is released shortly or does the colour not matter? Leave us your thought below…
