When a new phone is released into the market, it is isn’t long before hackers decide it is time for them to tap into the phones operating systems and start running unlocked features and pirated applications on them.
Now we have recently heard that Geohot has already jailbroken the iPhone 4, although he is remaining tight lipped about a supposed release date. Well, it would appear that the iPhone OS isn’t the only one being hacked into, because it has been announced the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 has also been jailbroken, or the official term used for hacked Android phones is ‘rooted’.
Also unlike Geohot, who is not giving us a sniff of a release date or details, the Android developers who have rooted the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 have revealed all about the ‘rooting’ process on the xda-forums.
The hacking details require you to follow 5 simple steps so head over to the xda-forums to find out how to jailbreak, hack or root your Sony Ericsson Xperia X10…if you dare!

Hi all people, I have a niggle..
. Yahoo maps keeps commencing up on it’s personal in background and getting loads of battery with it. For example, yesterday I took it off charge and it was sat idle with all the screen blanked for about 4 hours. When I flicked it on I was shocked to see that the battery was only 50% full which is negative even to the x10! When I looked at what was operating, I identified Moxier mail (no surprises there) and Yahoo Roadmaps.
