Taiwanese Website Leaks Photos of a Tiny Display Bearing 'Apple' Insignia

The Taiwanese website apple.pro has released a couple of pictures of a teeny-weeny display and this has set the rumor machines working overtime. Not many details about the display have been given except for some facts that it measures 3×3 centimeters and that its connection cable bears the revered word 'Apple' on it. No news whether the display is functional or not!

However, apple.pro has a pretty impressive track record of uncovering Apple-related news. The same website had released the images of MacBook Pro enclosures two years ago. Its latest scoop was leaking the photos of white iPhone4 in May.

So now tech-pundits are scratching their heads, trying to find the actual use of this tiny display. The screen itself looks good and the rumors surrounding it are even more impressive.

Some are arguing that the display might be used for Apple TV remote control, while others think that Steve Jobs is going to use it for creating an iWatch. Phew, I just might hold a competition for coming up with the wackiest use of this miniature screen. Watch this space for more details.

iWatch would be nice but the most likely use will be a redesigned iMac remote that shows iTunes info.
Of course, I could push the boat out a bit and say it’s a screen for the back of the iPhone 5.

  • Good post, I will definitely be check this blog regularly now.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
