Steve Jobs E-Mails “Are Real” Claims Boy Genius Report

So Apple made a rather embarrassing statement last Friday outlining what they had found out about the supposed iPhone 4G antenna problems – in the statement they admitted an incorrect algorithm was the cause of the antenna issue.

This has followed 2-weeks of terrible PR for Apple after emails that were meant to be have sent from Steve Jobs were said to be fake. But now the Boy Genius Report who originally broke the story have come out on the defensive and reckon the email were sent from Apple.

During the email exchange, Steve Jobs had asked Jason Burford to “relax” and not to get “worked-up” over the rumours.

As soon as this his the interweb, Apple’s PR team released a statement claiming the e-mail conversation to be a fabrication.

BGR has now refuted the claims made by Apple’s PR team and reported that a thorough examination of e-mail headers by “independent tech guys” had confirmed that the e-mails came from Steve Jobs’ official Apple e-mail account.

It is still not clear whether Steve Jobs or a member of Apple’s PR team sent the e-mails, but BGR maintain that e-mails were definitely sent by Apple.

So the mud-slinging has continued are we ever going to an see end to this – who knows. Have your say below….

All internet data can be faked and every man and his dog on the internet claims that the info they give is true but we should know by now that it’s nonsense.

There are a lot of companies that have tried to compete with Apple and have failed miserably. How many times have you read iPod killer, iPhone killer, iPad killer, iTunes killer. Now how many of these products have actually done that? none at all.

Companies are now realising that if you can’t beat them and you can’t join them, spitefully throw s*** until something sticks and then get everyone on the bandwagon to spread it round.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
