Apple: Steve Job Email’s Fake

So Apple have come out on the PR defensive by stating any emails featuring Steve Jobs leaked on the internet over the last few weeks are fake, and in future we should take all correspondents with a healthy grain of salt.

It only took Apple a week and half to start up the PR machine – after a week of Apple bashing due to customers complaining about signal issues with their new iPhone 4G.

So the email chain which was leaked online for a price to Appleinsider, and since Fortune has been contacted by Apple to say that the conversation was fake.

Engadget decided to contact the PR department at Apple, who have been very quiet of late, and they have also confirmed that conversation was a hoax.

So, the story thickens. We wonder how long it will take for Apple to make a statement about the issues with the iPhone 4G antenna problems. This time next year at this rate.
