My local swimming pool has two problems – the people are loud and the music they play is beyond appalling. Which is fine if you can swim underwater but I’m more of a paddler than a length swimmer. If you’re like me, now you can shut it all out with a Speedo Aquabeat WaterProof MP3 Player.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. Submergable up to 10 feet, the Aquabeat comes with fully waterproof earphones and clips easily on to (and I quote) ‘swimwear, goggles or any other apparel’. Well it is only 2.4″ long! The buttons are ergonomically designed so that you can skip between tracks without have to break your stroke.
It only holds 1GB of music, but for a leisurely afternoon swim in the pool that should be more enough. Fill it with chill out tunes and relax on your lilo, or put your work out mix on there and get your beach body toned in time for your holiday.
