iPhone 4 Reception Problems Maybe be Fixed as Apple Hire iPhone Antenna Engineers

Apple’s supposed woes may continue as it has been suggested that they are looking for Antenna specialists to work on their iPhone 4, which does make you wonder why they might be doing this.

Apple have been in a mud-slinging match with its customers and the press, regarding signal loss for their new recently released device.

We have even tried the thumb blocking signal test and we’re sorry to say it does exist and seems to happen when the left thumb covers the volume buttons.

Apple’s response was mute to say the least and Steve Jobs simply said “hold it in a different way”.  However, it would appear that now Apple are being a lot more proactive, with the recent revelation that they are hiring antenna specialist to possibly work on their new iPhone 4 and fix the reception problem.

The job description says “Define and implement antenna system architecture to optimize the radiation performance for wireless portable devices.”

It was posted on June 23rd, the same day we started seeing problems with their flagship device.

So have Apple decided to remedy problem or is it just a coincidence? Have your say below…….

  • i was gonna buy nd im realy disspointed.

  • Mark Staples

I had the Iphone 4 but had to send it back . I’m left handed and the dropped call situation was bad. We really shouldn’t have to put up with such an expensive device having design issues. After all it is a phone !
If our brand new car kept stalling would we keep it ?….of course not. I urge people to send them back and maybe then apple will sit up and take notice.

  • I sent mine back. Good return process if I a honest, but I think they are going to need a good process ! It’s not acceptable to send something to the market they knew was faulty

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
