There's no denying it, email makes up a huge percentage of communication these days. It's quick and easy and you can get your point across without being tied up in time consuming conversations. Some however complain that the virtual world is too impersonal and prefer actual conversations.
I spend a fair amount of time in airports awaiting my delayed flights. And to pass the time, I like to check my email on my mobile. Well, I try to but it's temperamental, hormonal and a nightmare at times. It will connect, it won't connect, fast one minute, snail pace the next. And if I'm not within a certain time or I've gone over my data limit, I end up with ridiculous numbers on my phone bill.
So if you suffer like I do, then Peek may interest you. Peek is an email only mobile device, specifically designed to allow you to manage your emails wherever you are and targeting those who don't want to pay lots for a smart phone. Peek promise their service to be hassle free - no contracts, credit checks or activations fees. Instead, you get unlimited email for a flat low monthly rate.
The device itself is stylish, slim and compact, fitting in the palm of your hand. Read your emails on a clear, 2.5inch colour screen, type quickly with the full keyboard and access mail and menus via the easy to use scroll navigation system.
Peek allows you to access up to three email accounts on the device and is compatible with most major email providers including Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail and AOL.
Now to regain the worldly balance of good and evil, here's the bad news. At present it only appears to be available for purchase in the US from Get Peek where it has been so popular that it is currently sold out. However, I'll be keeping my eye out for new stock and for Peek's arrival in the UK.
