Air conditioning can be the root of all the moaning in an open plan office with some complaining it’s too hot and some complaining it’s too cold. So what can be done? Well Herman Miller, the US office furniture manufacturer, may have solved the problem with a climate control tool with thermal electric technology called, C2.
The C2 gadget allows each person to select the right temperature at their own desk without causing office tantrums and arguments (trust me I’ve seen it happen!). Basically, the air con blows into the room and then the C2 gadget on each desk regulates the temperature in each cubicle. The device will set you back or the company £150 (around $300).
I don’t know but I personally think it’s a bit of expensive idea, even though I think it’s good in regulating and personalising the works temperature I just think what is wrong with the old fashioned idea of bringing a cardi or jumper to work if you’re cold?! I tell you all that air conditioning in the R & D department at Herman Miller has gone straight to their heads!

What a fantastic idea, this mean no more complaining about not being the right temp all year round
