Last month, the we saw the HTC EVO 4G being hacked to include the new Android OS, Froyo 2.2.
For those of you that were reluctant to try out the hack and have been waiting for the official release of the Froyo 2.2 to be launched onto EVO 4G, it would appear that you won’t have to wait much longer as Sprint have announced that the new Google OS, Android 2.2 Froyo will be making its way to the HTC EVO 4G smartphone shortly.
There has been no confirmed released date of when this will be available, but all that Sprint did reveal is that it will definitely will be available on the phone.
We can expect a whole host of new features to the new Google OS, which will include a faster browsing experience with the Froyo 2.2 and changes to the user interface.
