So England lost and calls for goal-line technology will intensify as the English footballing community asks for Sepp Blatter’s head via Twitter after Mr Lampard’s goal was disallowed.
But what is goal-line technology? We think the video below explains well enough.
Until you actually think about it, finding out the location of a ball (without a satellite) may not be as easy as one would first imagine.
The technology’s there, so how come we’re not using it?

there’s something much cheaper and easier that’s called replays.
Watch it in slow motion and decide if it was in or not.
Football isn’t tennis.
Oh well, i think Mr.Lampard’s goal is a perfect example for a no brainer, Head of FIFA, to introduce goal-line technology as it would assist every team across the board.
Agree with above, you don’t need all this. The video cameras looking at each side of the net and the in top corners are good enough to see if it crossed the line. Broadcast cameras have been around for over 50 years, they aren’t expensive and are at almost all professional games anyway.
