Microsoft’s “decision engine”, is looking to take on iTunes with a some clever intergregration with their Zune Marketplace, from today searches of music, lyrics, games, TV shows, and movies will all get a special place in the search engine.
You’ll be able play 100 basic games from the your search results, along with the ability to listen to a music track in full for the first time and 30-seconds thereafter, all taken from their 5 million-strong catalog.
The later can now be bought with a one-click purchase through Zune and direct from the web – so no need to load iTunes music libraries.
Movie tickets are promised to get the similarly easy purchase option, and their will a entirely new entertainment section, which will act as a portal for all forms of entertainment.
It doesn’t look much different to the current iTunes Store, but as they have a partnership with Apple’s digital music shop, we doubt Steve Jobs will be worried just yet.
