With the release date for the iPhone 4 happening in two days time, it was reported that some of us that had pre-ordered our Apple iPhone 4 might be getting it a day earlier.
Well it would appear that after our article yesterday, our Gaj-it readers have responded and some of them have told us that some of them will be receiving their iPhone 4 a day earlier, which is actually tomorrow. Here is an email sent out to one customer below:
Dear Apple Store Customer,
You recently received a Shipment Notification email from Apple advising you that your iPhone has shipped.
This email is to confirm that your delivery will occur on June 23rd. Although Apple and FedEx tracking information may currently indicate a later date, you can check the FedEx website the morning of the June 23rd to track your package to your doorstep.
In the event that you will not be available to accept delivery on June 23rd, it may be more convenient to use our pre-sign delivery option by visiting our Order Status website at"¦

However, it would appear that this news about the iPhone 4 arriving early seems to be only from our friends across the Atlantic. Unfortunately for the UK there is no news as of yet.

Pre-Ordered Early on the 15th June.
Still says “Not Shipped” on the 22nd June.
I think it seems where-as I got my iPad early in the UK, in the case of the iPhone 4, its only going to be USA Customers. Mind you, its probably a tactical decision by Apple since AT&T wont be able to cope with everyone receiving their phone on the same day :-)
I am a little concerned the status hasn’t changed at all though when its only 48hrs away from the promised deliver by date!!
I ordered around 11am on the 15th and currently my status says “Estimated Delivery on 24th June”. I just hope it arrives on the 24th..
i order 15 june 11 o clock .i ring apple today and they say to me
they couldn’t find any courier service for uk deliveries yet
they don’t know about deliveries
