Earlier we announced that the iPhone 4 will be released on T-Mobile in the few weeks. Well, it would seem that us folk in the UK will have an even varied carrier choice as this time Three have also revealed that they will be carrying the iPhone 4 too on June 24th.
With O2, Orange and Vodafone also in the line up to carry the iPhone 4, it would appear that now all 5 of the popular UK networks will be offering the iPhone 4.
In terms of pricing, again, no UK network carrier has advised details yet but with pre-orders starting on the 15th June it will definitely be an interesting battle of the famous five UK carriers when details are released then.
The question is whether Three will be able to lure customers from the other network providers to their network. This would really depend on whether people are more brand or network conscious rather than getting the best deal.
Would you be enticed by Three if they offered a better price for the iPhone 4 compared to the other big four UK network providers? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think….

Anybody who bought it on 3 would be a fool!
Nope its the network that matters as wot is the point of having a phone but no signal in Dorset or Cornwall !!
Ring ring, hello. Oh it’s 2008, they want their opinions back.
Anyone who slates the 3 network coverage is living in the past.
They have updated their systems twice in the last 18 months and the last one (in March/April) gave them the best coverage and fastest data over all the other carriers.
So, drag yourself into 2010 and stop passing off old opinions as current fact.
we would like to see iphone 4 g on three network if they put the best prices we go for it pay as you go too
I would like to see it on all networks. And would like to see it give away for free. Either that or I would like to see apple bankrupt after their massive iphone of an ipad.
if 3 offer skype call on the iphone i will be happy to change network.
Have been with 3 for the last 5 years or so. Fantastic, forward-thinking company, always had great service, and always been the fastest (and the first) with 3.5g before anyone else seemed to realise the possibilities of the mobile internet.
However, I was going to leave when my contract expires, because I really wanted a Nokia N900, but will now stay and get an iPhone 4. It’s probably saved the company, them getting this new iPhone.
Well done 3. One more customer saved.
gotta laugh @John. Buddy, you are living in the past, three has (by far) the best network for mobile data. Period! and for when your out of reach of their network, which is almost never these days, they use the orange network which I know to be excellent in Cornwall. So maybe you and your people’s republic brothers need to come into the present day with the rest of us and ditch your moto c501’s
Have been with 3 network for 3 years and find them great, their customer service is dire tho. It takes ages to explain what you want and they keep harassing you to upgrade etc. However, I’m glad I didn’t leave for the iphone 3 and will be sticking with them and getting the new iphone 4.
amazing prices but no service
