Bag a Free Laptop at PC World by Signing Up to a 2 Year Orange Broadband Connection

PC World customers who sign up to a two year broadband connection with Orange from tomorrow will be given a new laptop worth over £300 but if you want to take advantage of this offer then you will need to go in store to get it.

The contract will include a two year deal at £14.99 per month (with the first three months half price – £7.49) for up to 2MB broadband including a wired ADSL modem.

The freebie laptop includes a minimum spec of 15.4-inch widescreen, Celeron processor, 256MB memory, 40GB hard drive and DVD rewriter.

So it looks as though Orange and PC World are stepping up the game in the war against the Broadband Big Wigs.

  • I think this is a good way to get people to get your service. Who wouldn’t like a free laptop. But I would definently be reading the fine print before I signed on.

  • It sounds too good to be true. They’re giving you free broadband for two years or a free laptop.

The deal costs (£330ish and the laptops are worth approximately the same amount – so it sounds like a giveaway.

  • I suppose because there is soo much Broadband competition out there, providing customers with a freebie will make them sign up to contract and in the future make them stay but yeah I definately would advise reading the small print before you sign up.

  • I have to say I’ve been reading the reviews on this and there are so many people complaining that Orange are not the best ISP but at the same time so many REAL customers saying they are happy with it.

You can get Orange BB free with any contract with £25p/m line rental, including cash back deals. If your desperate for a laptop this is a good deal though – if your not on BT already then I would probably advise against it.

  • I don’t currantly use them and I am not going to change at the moment. But I to have heard good and bad things about them.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
