Just when we thought our friends over the Atlantic in the US would be the first to get an official release schedule of the new iPhone it would appear that UK have got in there instead. O2 and Orange have confirmed that they will be UK carriers of the iPhone when it is released in the UK on June 24th.
So as it would appear that Apple are opening the doors to various carriers in the UK, can we expect Vodafone and T-Mobile to follow suit? I think it would be the clever move forward especially as there has been so much hype surrounding the Apple iPhone 4 over recent months.
Are you an Orange or O2 customer? Will you be buying an iPhone 4 when it is released in the UK on June 24th? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think…

Well the 3GS is available on Vodafone so I expect iPhone 4 will be too.
Can’t wait to upgrade my old 3G. Let’s see what contracts they come up with..
i’ll want it on the 24th except i’ll be in the US that week so will have it delivered instead of getting it from the retail store. besides last time i went to retail they ran out of 16gigs so i had to settle for 8gigs.
I have been working with a brken iPhone 3g for the last 3 months, the OS software is corrupt and I can no longer plug it into a Mac, it won’t charge via a computer, nor am I able to sync, the camera doesn’t work and there is no sound other than through the headphones.
But yes, I was due an upgrade on May 6th and have been eagerly awaiting this little gizmo.
I am going to be calling o2 today to confirm that I will be getting one on the release date.
