We already know that the highly anticipated iPhone 4 was unveiled at the WWDC a couple of hours ago.  Although we gave you a quick round up of the iPhone 4 specs, we thought that now things have calmed down a little we would divulge a little more in depth into the iPhone 4 and its features.  First up is the design…

I suppose it comes as no shock to what the actual phone looks like especially as Gizmodo managed to get hold of the missing iPhone 4 prototype a few weeks ago.  The new phone looks quite different to the current iPhone and touts a more squared off frame with a flatter back, giving it an air of superiority as well as slickness.

Further to this, when we heard about the glass on both sides of the body we were a little worried especially as I seem to drop mine every second. However, Apple revealed that the glass on both sides is almost as strong as sapphire crystal.  Hmmm…I think I might still protect it with case just to be on the safe side!

So what about dimensions? Well, it is 4.5×2.31×0.37 inches. It weights 137 grams, more than expected and slightly heavier than the 3GS. It's similar enough in size and weight to the old one that you probably won't notice the difference.

The steel rim around the phone is in actual fact the comprises of the phone’s antenna which is helps to alleviate the problems of signal blockage.

Watch this space as we talk more about the iPhone 4 in our next blog post…

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
