It has already bee revealed that the Android phone, the HTC Desire will be getting an official Android 2.2 Froyo update on June 23.
Now, we do expect other Android phones will follow suit shortly but those of you that can’t wait until the official date which could take months, you might want to opt for the quicker yet riskier option of porting.
HTC Magic fans maybe pleased to know that a video has been posted which shows a unofficial port of Froyo on the HTC Magic smartphone.
Although this seems like great news for HTC Magic owners, a word of caution. Proceed at your own risk as with anything unofficial like this, there is bound to be problems and risks involved.

I am pretty positive that the motorola droid will be getting android 2.2 before the htc magic. An estimated guess would be that some more info about android 2.2 for droid will be coming out in early june. Maybe even android 2.2 in early june
hehe now i have 2.3.3 on my samsung galaxy s, and its much faster then the iphone now
