Whilst the US have been enjoying the benefits of the Apple iPad, the UK and the rest of the international population have been waiting in anticipation for a potential release date of the iPad.
We have heard rumours and predictions that the iPad release date could be Saturday 29th May or even earlier but nothing had been officially confirmed by Apple. Well it would appear that our predictions have not been far off as Apple have revealed officially that the date will be Friday 28th May, which fits nicely on pay day for a majority of the working population.
To save yourself the disappointment of the iPad being sold out, pre-orders for this apple-tastic gadget begin on May 10th, which is this Monday.
Apple plans to release the iPad in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore in July. Apple will announce availability, local pricing and pre-order plans for these nine additional countries at a later date.
