Samsung Wave Smartphone Gets DivX HD Stamp of Approval

The Samsung Wave smartphone was announced last month, which was Samsung's first smartphone to run on their new Bada OS.

With release date details gearing towards next month and pricing not yet been confirmed, we have been itching to find out more about this new Samsung smartphone.

Well, the Samsung Wave is now the first smartphone to receive DivX HD certification. This official stamp of approval is not surprising especially as the phone is expected to playback HD Video in 720p, include built-in LED flash and features a 3.3 inch WVGA Super AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480.

Other standard features include a five megapixel camera, a built-in FM radio, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, integrated WiFi and GPS.
