The MP3 wars are continuing with Creative’s latest addition to it’s collection with the introduction of the new Zen Stone, a 1GB MP3 player. I have only three words to describe this Zen ‘Gem’ Stone: small, colourful and simple.
Available in six colours (black, white, red, blue, pink and green) you can store up to 500 songs, do random music shuffles and it also gives you play list folders and favourite artists as navigational options.
With a battery life of 10 hours and costs only £28, it is definitely a cheaper option to its contender the iPod Shuffle which costs about £55. For that reason I could definitely be swayed onto the side of the Creative.
It’s a perfect accessory to add to your gym clobber and at that price you might even be tempted to buy all six colours to co-ordinate with your gym wardrobe!
