iPhone 4G to include Touch Sensitive Case?

Its more rumours galore at the moment with the iPhone 4G. Previously speculations have included the proposed release date of iPhone 4G being May, however now more rumours are coming into existence about the actual product.

Robert Chen, an analyst at Goldman Sachs, told Bloomberg that the next iPhone will be ‘touch sensitive’, which is very similar to the Apple’s Magic Mouse. He also hinted about a 5 megapixel camera, which doesn’t sound surprising, especially as they want it to be comparable to the Nexus One’s camera. However, the part which we were more interested about was this touch sensitive concept which iPhone are rumoured to be integrating into their next generation mobile phone.

So how will this all work? Well, this is all a bit of a stab in the dark at the moment but it really depends on what Apple are like to use the touch sensitive icon for. There is hope that an innovative company such as Apple will push the boundaries a little more on the concept by including the touch sensitive area at the back of the phone to allow for you to quickly access your regularly used buttons such as your internet, calendar, email, contacts etc… However, what would be even better would be the if the user could customise their touch sensitive buttons at the back to match the users specifications. That would be great.

However, before we start getting ahead of ourselves with these supposed rumours, lets share a thought for the third party manufacturers who make iPhone protector cases. Would this be an end to them or could they work around this rumoured concept? We will just have to wait and see as it is a couple of exciting few months as the Apple iPhone 4G saga unravels.
