Last Christmas the Xbox 360 was the most desired Christmas present for the gadget enthusiasts. Playstation have delayed the launch of the PS3 console (priced between £325-£500 depending on model) to March and therefore the Nintendo Wii will definitely be the most desired gift this Christmas. The Xbox 360 was selling £150 over the retail price as demand soared. Will the same happen with the Wii this Christmas?
I think it will be the case especially as it’s the cheapest of the latest consoles. Therefore probably best to pre-order the console now alternative you may end up camping outside your local comet. Its great value for money as it offers:
- Motion sensitive remote control style wireless controllers, one of the most hyped features of the system. Connect to the console using Bluetooth. The control has a speaker, rumble feature and has an expansion port.
- WiiConnect24 – permanent internet connectivity, even if users do not play with Wii.
- Virtual console – Wii will have downloadable access to 20 years of fan-favourite titles originally released for Nintendo 64, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and even the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
