80GB PS3 Price Slashed To £250 At ASDA

You may think that it’s way too early to start thinking of Christmas presents, but with Winter poking its head around the corner, you’re going to need provisions for nights at home again to keep out of the bitter cold, and we’ve found just the thing.ps3

We don’t need to sell the PS3 to you, as it has been so popular that sales of the console overtook those of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 in Europe only a few months ago. As an added incentive to get your hands on this serious gaming console (other than because your neighbour most certainly has one) the price has dropped quite impressively.

ASDA has slashed its price of PS3 consoles to a very recession-friendly £250, which is a bargain for what you get in your shopping bag.

As well as a PS3 (well obviously), the ASDA pack also includes the following so you can get home, hook up your new toy and start playing straight away: Terminator Salvation game, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines Blu-ray film and either Ghostbusters: The Game or inFamous.

This price cut comes as rumours are rife that PS3 prices world-wide are going to be slashed in preparation for the released of the PS3 Slim.

We don’t really mind why Sony have brought out the red marker on the price ticket, we’re just scrambling around looking for our wallet now.

  • what gets me is the new smaller version. I have the old tanks version but still works well.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
