Anyone who has tried, or watched a Marvel movie, knows it’s not easy to be a hero. Spiderman’s social life takes a dive every time he dons the mask, The Fantastic Four are freaks, even in DC world, Batman is an outcast. Finally, a videogame comes along that shows just how difficult it is to make everyone happy, and the world a safer place.
The viral advert, featured below, demonstrates how hard such heroic activities are at the most basic level. Save a victim- further your heroic conquest? Leave the victim- further your self-interest? It really is up to you.
Top games review website, Gamespot, say it boast “Incredible freedom of movement, intense combat, and an enthralling story”.
Infamous is more than a game in which your path is laid out for you to follow. It’s not just about swinging through the city looking for criminals to beat up. You won’t just be skulking in the shadows or dark of night, avenging victims of organised crime.
You will rise above the lowly humans and make your decision. Will you help them or destory them- that, apparently, is truly up to you.
