It looks like since Apple revealed its new mobile phone, the iPhone, the people at Cisco have been going mad over what they believe is an obvious trademark infringement.
Cisco is to file a lawsuit against the Apple masters for using the iPhone name and claim that Apple asked them on a number of occasions to use the name, which they owned since 2000. Apple have hit back and said that this is an absurd accusation and a number of companies use the name to refer to VIOP products but not to a mobile phone.
So it looks like the war against the phone name has just started…so let the battle commence!
