Attention, all racing game fans! Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has finally announced the UK release date for eagerly-awaited
Gran Turismo 5. The racing sim game will hit UK store shelves on November 24. The game will feature total 1031 cars and 20 locations with 71 circuits. Among the new cars included in the game are the Lexus LFA, McLaren MP4-12C and Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce.
Gran Turismo will also have online communication feature enabled and you can import collected car data. The game will have face tracking capability as well. Over 200 cars in the game are under "Premium cars" category and the remaining will be in "Standard cars" category. Premium cars will not only have detailed exteriors but even their interiors have been re-enacted in high precision. With premium cars, you can also switch between high and low beam.
Gran Turismo 5 will also have NASCAR with star racers such as Tony Stuart and Jeff Gordon featured in the game. You will also get to witness the fine pitwork performed by NASCAR pit staff, which has been recreated in fine details in this game. Original Gran Turismo was conceived in 1997.
