For those of you who like to keep all your Apple devices synced with MobileMe, you'll be happy to know you can also keep your life synced between them too with the new MobileMe Calender which is now out its beta phase, available to paying customers. The service now has a few sweet new features to aid with organising not only your self but your friends too.
The new shared calendar feature allows users to create a calendar which can be shared amongst your friends. This calendar can be edited by the friends you choose to share it with or if you don't want anything changed you can also share a read-only copy for them to see.
The new MobileMe calendar's push updates requires at least iOS 4.1 for your iPhone or iPod Touch, iOS 4.2 for the iPad (this update is due in November) and OS X v10.6.4 or later for your Mac, with the MobileMe Control Panel 1.6.3 or later.
To obtain the MobileMe upgrade you will need to sign into your account at the MobileMe website make sure your calendar data is up-to-date and then click the "Upgrade Now" link in the bottom-left of the page to initiate the process.
