Looks as though Sony listened to my groaning about the UK being second best to US following the recent US price cut and is now offering a special console package for just Europe, meaning that you’ll be able to get much more for your much hard earned £425.
This meaty package will include the console, two games (definitely will include Resistance Fall of Man and MotorStorm) and two SixAxis wireless controllers, which is a much better deal when the PS3 was launched.
However I do recommend you make a quick sprint to the shops when it’s released to beat the mad rush. Just to give you a helping hand, the store release date for it will be July 18th, but the best thing is that we’ll even get it before the rest of Europe, who will have to wait until the 1st August.
Well done Sony and I take back all those harsh things I said about you! ;-)

I will definately keep you updated when Sony release details on who will be selling the PS3 bundle. At the moment nothing has been confirmed.
You’re right that is a much better deal than here in the States. That is a great bundle. I think they should have done something like this from day one.
Your right Sharon, they should have done this from day one. This is an amazing console but all the negative publicity has spoilt the fun (a bit anyway).
Sony is strange though how they are giving the US a a bigger hard disk and price cut but Europe a better bundle.
This is still the nudge that many people have been waiting for.
