So you’ve bought yourself an Apple iPad but the WiFi is a little temperamental and seems to cut out. Well it would appear that you’re not alone but there is the temporary fix to the problem by power cycling the wireless or tablet itself to get it up and running again.

However, you might not have to keep using this temporary fix to solve the iPad WiFi connection problem as Apple have announced that they are committed to try and find a permanent fix to the problem. Apple posted an update on the company’s support pages informing Apple iPad users that, “Apple will also address remaining Wi-Fi connectivity issues with a future iPad software update.”

Now there is very little detail regarding how they will go about this software update, but as this has been notified as a DHCP problem, many believe that they will be looking at preventing the iPad from allowing its IP lease to expire when in standby mode.
