With the UK and international release date on the cards for the end of May, it would appear that the US have beaten us again and will be getting their second slice of the iPad action, which will come equipped with 3G, by May 7th.
News has come after Apple updated their online store with the proposed shipping of the 3G iPad models. This will mean that we can expect AT&T to be waiting for you to sign up the $30 a month unlimited data plan as of the start of next month.
Now although, there maybe be some notorious moans and groans coming from over the international waters as the US will be receiving their second lot of iPad goodness approximately 3 days before pre-orders start for UK and international customers, nonetheless at least this release date in the US suggests that things are progressing for the 3G based iPad. This could in fact be good news for us folk in the UK as the US release date suggests that along with the WiFi only iPad UK customers will be receiving, they will may also get their hands on the 3G based models all at the same time at the end of May.
