The hype is now over in the US for the long awaited iPhone which hit the stores on Friday. After an excruciating 4 days of waiting outside the stores, the US gadget geeks finally got their mitts on the new Apple iPhone, so was it worth the wait?

I just cannot fathom paying this kind of money for something when the latest and greatest is probably just around the corner and hopefully cheaper.
