BlackBerry users rejoice, now there's an official app to delay sending off that document to your boss before the 8am meeting, with the new Twitter for BlackBerry app.
While this isn't the only client out there for BlackBerry users to reduce their thoughts to 140 characters, it's RIM's own brand application, and looks to be well integrated into current BlackBerry features.
Apart from letting you tailor your @replies and direct messages, all new updates are pushed to your handset in real-time so that you can reply "@Tanya_Hall lol" instantly.
You will also receive instant notices of someone retweeting your words of genius, and all links are automatically shortened so you don't need to fiddle around with an external bit.ly site.
While its still in Beta, first impressions are good with the streamlined layout making it easy to navigate through the social networking site on your 2.5inch screen.
RIM has made the most of your BlackBerry's camera as well, allowing you to take a pic and directly share it on Twitter.
There is also the option of searching for other Twitter users and Tweets within a specified location, in case you're in the mood to hang out with a fellow micro-blogger.
What is missing is the ability to keep track of trending topics, however RIM has said it hopes to include this feature by the time the app is fully released in the next few months.
Twitter for BlackBerry is available for the very reasonable price of free and can be downloaded from the BlackBerry App World or directly from the BlackBerry site.
